 Bay County is... Growing

Bay County’s agricultural roots run deep, and when paired with our manufacturing history, makes us positioned to play a key role in the state's economic sustainability.  More than 50% of land in Bay County is used to feed the world as farms, processors, and crops, dot the Bay County landscape.  Home to Michigan Sugar Company, the third largest beet sugar processor in the U.S., Bay View Foods/Mr. Chips, one of the largest briners of pickling cucumbers in the U.S. with over 5% of the total U.S. production, and many more-- Bay County knows Agribusiness.
